We’re Highbury Design and we manufacture bespoke room dividers in our own Nottingham factory. Four of us are artists by trade- Stephanie, Lubi, Rosie and me- Nick. Using obeche timber we create sliding lightweight Shoji room dividers- with fabrics from our vast selection- although the most popular one is ‘Tranquil’- a spun polyester we have to buy in from Germany. It’s water resistant so you can wash it down although it looks like handmade paper.
